Privacy Policy

How this independent review site handles information about its readers in the United Arab Emirates.

Look at the sponsored broker

What happens when you read a review here?

Suppose you open a page comparing the trading conditions of FXGT, read the section on spreads, and then click through to the broker's own website. In that ordinary visit, two things happen. Your browser sends technical information to the server that hosts this site, and a small measurement script may record that a page was viewed. Nothing else is required of you, and you are not asked to create an account to read anything here.

This site is an independent editorial resource. It is not the broker, it is not affiliated with the broker, and it does not offer financial services, trading accounts, deposits or advice. That matters for privacy because it limits what we could ever need from you. We do not open accounts, we do not process payments, and we do not hold client money or identity documents.

What we do collect is modest: standard server logs such as the requested page, the time of the request, the referring page, a truncated or masked IP address, browser type and language, and aggregated measurement data about how pages are used. If you choose to write to us through the contact form on this site, we receive what you type there, including any name and contact detail you decide to give.

What we do not collect is equally important. We do not ask for your trading account number, your passport or Emirates ID, your bank details, your salary, your investment history or your portfolio. We do not build profiles of individual readers for sale, and we do not run advertising networks on this site that track you across other websites.

Who sees your information, and who never will?

The people who see reader information are the small number needed to run the site: the editorial team, and the service providers who host the pages and measure traffic in aggregate. Those providers act on our instructions and are bound to use the data only for the purpose we set. If you send a message through the contact form, it is read by whoever handles correspondence.

We do not sell reader information to anyone, and we do not rent it, trade it or hand it to brokers, affiliates or marketing lists. We do not pass your contact details to FXGT, and we do not tell the broker who you are. Outbound links to the broker's website are ordinary links; once you follow one, you are on the broker's site and its own privacy terms apply, not ours.

We may disclose information if a lawful request from a competent authority requires it, or if it is needed to protect the site against abuse such as a denial-of-service attack. Beyond those narrow situations, your information stays where it is.

How long do you keep records?

Server logs and aggregated measurement records are kept only as long as they are useful for running the site and understanding which pages readers find helpful, and are then deleted or reduced to statistics that no longer identify anyone.

Messages sent through the contact form are kept for as long as needed to answer them and to keep a record of the correspondence, after which they are removed. If you ask us to delete a message earlier, we will do so unless we are required to keep it for a specific legal reason.

We do not keep reader information longer than the purpose for which it was collected requires. There is no separate archive of reader profiles, because we do not create reader profiles.

What are your rights, and how do you use them?

You may ask what information we hold about you, ask for a copy of it, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. You may also withdraw any consent you gave earlier, for example if you agreed to be contacted.

To exercise any of these rights, write to us through the contact form on this site and describe what you want. We may ask a clarifying question to make sure we are acting on the right request, and we will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for an ordinary request.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may raise the matter with the relevant data protection authority in the United Arab Emirates. We would rather hear from you first, so that we can put things right.

What about children, and what age applies?

This site is written for adults who are considering trading and who live in the United Arab Emirates. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.

If you are under eighteen, please do not use the contact form or send us personal details. If we learn that we have received information from a child, we will delete it.

Because the subject matter concerns trading, we expect readers to be old enough to open a trading account with a regulated firm in their own jurisdiction. That age is a matter for the broker and for local law, not for this site.
